15. ožujka je na ZŠEM-u održano predavanje profesora dr. sc. Ive Josipovića, predsjednika Republike Hrvatske, koji je svojim predavanjem na temu „Vanjska politika Republike Hrvatske" privukao više od 400 studenata ZŠEM-a. Studenti su nakon predavanja postavljali pitanja na koja je Predsjednik vrlo rado odgovarao, a predavanje je završeno Chopinovom sonatom br. 2 u B-molu, stavak 1 koju je na klaviru izveo student Filozofskog fakulteta Družbe Isusove Stipo Bilić.

As a new summer semester begins, Orientation day was held for the international students that will spend their semester here at the ZSEM. From today, ZSEM student community is richer for 34 international students coming here via international exchange from Germany, Portugal and Brasil. Together with them, ZSEM is also countinuing to host their peers from France, USA, Mexico, Austria, Russia, Belgium, Canada and Finland.

ZSEM Voted the Best Business School in Croatia by Eduniversal

On 4. Eduniversal world Conference, ZSEM was voted the best business school in Croatia. Deans of 1000 business school and economic faculties from 153 countries voted this year. ZSEM was awarded three palms (217 votes) leaving behind Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb (165 votes and 3 palms), Cotrugli Business School (28 votes-two palms) and Faculty of Economics, University of Osijek (24 votes-two palms).

Prime Minister in ZSEM

Today at Zagreb School of Economics and Management, the first series of ZSEM forum, DISCUSSION ABOUT EUROPE was held. The topic of today's forum was „European developmental crisis and Croatian membership in EU: challenges, chances and risks“. The main speaker of the forum was President of Crotaian goverrnment, Mr.Zoran Milanović. Additional speakers in the forum were Slaven Letica, Josip Glaurdić and Đuro Njavro. ZSEM appreciates Prime Minister Milanovic for his participation in the forum and inspiring as well as interesting speech delivered to ZSEM's students as well as to representatives of business sectors. It is a big honor for ZSEM that Prime Minister was the first speaker in the ZSEM forum DISCUSSION ABOUT EUROPE. We also hope that this dialogue will be a trigger for opportunities for further development and Croatia's new role in European community.

Direktor ZŠEM-a izlagao na Danima poslovne edukacije

Danas su u organizaciji Poslovnog savjetnika održani 4. Dani poslovne edukacije čiju je organizaciju podržao i ZŠEM. Konferencija je okupila veliki broj stručnjaka među kojima je bio i direktor ZŠEM-a mr. sc. Zoran Barac koji je održao predavanje na temu „Management model poslovne škole".

Studentica ZŠEM-a među 12 najboljih na Intesa Sanpaolo Card University Award 2012

Intesa Sanpaolo Card d.o.o. organizira „Customer Satisfaction University Award", međunarodno studentsko natjecanje u području zadovoljstva klijenta. Natjecanje je međunarodnog karaktera i istodobno se provodi u osam zemalja, članica Intesa Saopaolo Grupe (Albanija, Bosna i Hercegovina, Egipat, Hrvatska, Mađarska, Slovenija, Srbija i Slovačka). Čestitamo Vedrani Bodgan, studentici ZŠEM-a koja se plasirala među 12 najboljih na ovom natjecanju.

Dekan ZŠEM-a na završnoj ceremoniji projekta Case Study Competition 2012

Jučer je na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Zagrebu održana završna ceremonija projekta Case Study Competition 2012, najvećeg studentskog natjecanja na području Republike Hrvatske. Udruga eSTUDENT već je sedmu godinu zaredom uspješno privela kraju Case Study Competition projekt, kojim pruža priliku mladim studentima da se istaknu već za vrijeme studiranja, ali i poduzećima da ostvare suradnju sa perspektivnim mladim ljudima. Na završnoj ceremoniji i proglašenju pobjednika uz druge uvažene goste sudjelovao je i dekan ZŠEM-a dr. sc. Đuro Njavro.

ZSEM's student won 2nd place in world competition for innovation

ZSEM's student Filip Degoricija, chair of squash section and member of Buddy program in ZSEM as well as chair of marketing FSB Racing Team together with his friend Matija Jakšić won the 2nd place in world competition of innovation - Henkel Innovation Challenge which was held in Poland from April 25th until 28th.  Their innovation which deserved the 2nd place is a product for future - foil which remove completely stain from clothes.

Students taking elective course of Sales Managemdent visited Konzum d.d.

ZSEM's students who are taking elective course of Sales Management, professor Olivera Jurković Majić, Ph.D. visited on May 2nd, 2012 logistic-distribution center of Konzum d.d. and supermarket Super Konzum. The purpose of the visit was to acquaint students with sales management of one of the leading distribution chains in South-East Europe and to provide students with opportunities of theory and real business practices. Through its business practices, the host enriched the visit by providing practical implementation of business philosophy of Kaizen in sales activities.

ZSEM appreciates Konzumu d.d. for accepting students' visit.
