Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM) in the academic year 2013 / 2014 announces the following

A P P L I C A T I O N

for

enrollment of students in the Undergraduate Program of Economics and Management in English language for acquiring the title of Baccalaureus / Baccalaurea of Economics (240 ECTS)

Enrollment criteria:

finished four year high school and
passed ZSEM’s entrance exam.

The following documentation should be submitted for admission:

Completed on-line application form from the web page www.zsem.hr with obligatory writing of student's e-mail address;
Transcript of records for all four years of high school and the final certificate (diploma) of education (in original or copy certified by notary public);
Officially certified translations of your high school transcript of records/diploma in English language if they are not originally issued in English or Croatian;
Candidates who have completed high school education in general, gymnasium and art secondary education programs outside Croatia need to bring Decision on recognition of a foreign education qualification issued by the Education and Teacher Training Agency. Candidates who have completed vocational secondary education programs outside of Croatia need to submit Decision on recognition of a foreign education qualification issued by the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education. ZSEM will enroll the student conditionally without the Decision of the above mentioned agencies in case the process is not completed, and after the completion of the procedure for recognition and receiving a positive Decision ZSEM will enroll the student regularly;

Passport copy with a clearly visible photography of the candidate;
Birth certificate translated in English by a certified translator if not originally issued in English or Croatian (in original or a certified copy by notary public);
Certificate of nationality, only for Croatian citizens (in original or a certified copy by notary public);
Certificate of non-criminal conviction
A recommendation from principal of high school from which candidate graduated
Two photos size 4 x 6 cm and
Receipt of paid application fee in amount of 150€.

Application documents must be submitted at the latest by 31st of March, 2013, except for item 4 whose submission deadline is November 1^st, 2013.

The Entrance exam shall be held on 13^th of April, 2013 beginning at 9 am for students residing in Croatia. For non-resident students the Entrance exam shall be held at scheduled time agreed individually with each candidate.

All candidates shall be considered for admission by the following criteria:

Evaluation of high school grades (overall average for all four years),
Scores on mathematics test, (candidates who have passed SAT are exempted from the test),
English proficiency (candidates who are native speakers of English are exempted from the test; candidates who have graduated from an high school whose teaching language is English are exempted from the test if they have taken internationally accepted English language proficiency test – TOEFL or IELTS is highly recommended),
Interview with the candidate and essay.
