Economics and Mathematics Department

Economics and Mathematics Department covers courses that focus on studying fundamental economics research and key scientific contributions. Course programs are tailored to provide students with an insight into the fundamentals of economic theory and scientific explanations of real economic phenomena, as well as familiarize students with basic analytical techniques for conducting economic analyses on the current economic situation in Croatia and the world.

This department also focuses on the application of mathematical and statistical methods in the economy. Thus, most of their research is related to quantitative methods in various parts of economy and business, financial mathematics, econometrics, and statistics.
