Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM) offers you the possibility of customize your master degree program according to your specific interests and career goals through the DD (Dual degree program) ZSEM-FIU, which has the aim of preparing future business leaders able to face global environment.

This program is designed primarily for students who wish to pursue a career in the dynamic global or regional business area.

All students involved in this program will develop diversity of though, a global perspective and international management competences. The objective is to prepare professionals with a range of advanced skills in international management.

Students spend a semester in Zagreb at ZSEM and a year in Florida International University. At ZSEM, student must be in Finance and Accounting program and at FIU in Real Estate Management Program, or General program at ZSEM and International Business at FIU.  After completing the requirements of the DD program, students get a MBA delivered by ZSEM and a Master degree delivered by Florida International University. To get the an FIU Master degree, by study there for one academic year, students must pay the fee established at FIU.

The Country

It is internationally known for golf, tennis, auto racing, and water sports. Florida has the longest coastline in the contiguous United States, encompassing approximately 2,170 km.

The City

Miami is a city located on the Atlantic coast in southeastern Florida with a population of 430,332, it is the principal, central, and most populous city of the Miami metropolitan area, and the second most populous metropolis in the Southeastern United States.

Miami is a major center, and a leader in finance, commerce, culture, media, entertainment, the arts, and international trade. In 2008, Forbes magazine ranked Miami “America’s Cleanest City”, for its year-round good air quality, vast green spaces, clean drinking water, clean streets, and city-wide recycling programs.  Miami has a tropical monsoon climate with hot and humid summers and short, warm winters, with a marked drier season in the winter.

Student Life

Florida International University has many kinds of organizations and activities to stimulate your heart and mind including athletic events, service & theme clubs, student government, a literary magazine, a campus TV station, the student newspaper, concerts, cookouts, exciting speakers, and worship services. All these outlets provide the opportunity for you to interact with members of the Bobcat community and participate in university life.

Travel Opportunities

Shanghai Shi (Shanghai Municipality) covers approximately two thousand square kilometers, comprising ten counties and extending far beyond the limits of the city itself. An extensive canal system once transported goods all around imperial China, and the attractive water towns that grew up around them. Zhouzhuang, Xitang and Tongli present some of eastern China’s most distinctive urban environments. Today, these towns are a popular escape from the city. Shanghai serves as an important air, rail, road and water transport hub in eastern China, so you can easily get anywhere you want. The city of Hangzhou, about a one-hour high speed train ride away, is one of the most important tourist cities in China famous for its natural beauty.
