Special Topics in:

  • International Leadership

This part of the international study abroad course is designed to give students the opportunity to interact with college students across Europe about the challenges of entrepreneurial leadership.

You will learn:

  1. What it means to be an entrepreneurial leader in a global context
  2. How Croatia competes in a global market
  3. Why traveling internationally prepares today’s students for tomorrow’s business
  4. How to be culturally competent in a European context
  5. What are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats affecting Croatia
  6. How to build relationships across global lines

Given the cultural immersion focus of this program, students will be encouraged to participate in the organized social activities, which will include ice skating, snowboarding and skiing as well as exploring the Christmas market in Zagreb which hosts classical concerts on Christmas balconies, pop-up winter garden concerts, gourmet food and drink sampling, souvenir shopping at the Christmas fair, and many more cultural activities.

ZSEM wishes to support the efforts of the Zagreb Tourist Board in their organization of Zagreb Advent, which you can learn more about on their Advent website here: http://www.adventzagreb.com/?lang=en

What students say about ZSEM?

Vitor Duarte

Professors at ZSEM are great since they resort to several innovative teaching methods, and most of the times I was able to learn from their personal experiences on the market. All of these made me feel very interested in the courses I was taking at the time and made me want to go for further knowledge.
