Morgan Stanley representatives from Budapest office at the end of the last year visited Zagreb School of Economics and Management. It all started upon the recommendation of some of their Croatian colleagues. They started researching ZSEM and as they said, they were impressed by the level of information available on the website. This gave them a clear indication of the quality and relevance of the programs and seemed to be the perfect fit for departments at Morgan Stanley. They were also delighted with the organization within ZSEM, the careers center and staff who were extremely approachable, which made the whole visit much easier to organize.During their visit, they openly stated that the students and alumni that they met exceeded their expectations – both in terms of their preparation and technical knowledge.
The ideal candidate for a position at Morgan Stanley, and investment banking in general, must be driven, have a deep interest in finance and is motivated to further their existing knowledge. They must also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, and have exceptional communication skills. They need to be able to do work individually but also collaborate with others and be a team player. Finally, they stressed that, to be successful, an applicant must be able to clearly demonstrate the aforementioned attributes and additionally show an understanding of the business and company that they are applying to.

Yasanji has been working in investment banking for over 3 years, and has experience at other investment banks including Citi, Bank of America and UBS. Yasanji has a PhD in Economics from the University of Leeds.
Henrik has been working in investment banking with less than a year, and started as a graduate at Morgan Stanley. He has also worked in both investment banking at BNP Paribas and consulting at PwC. He has a degree in Economics with a specialization in Mathematical Economics from the University of Manchester.
