Katedra za ekonomiju i matematiku

Katedra za ekonomiju i matematiku obuhvaća grupu kolegija u okviru kojih se proučavaju temeljna ekonomska istraživanja i ključni doprinosi ekonomske znanosti.

Programi kolegija zamišljeni su tako da daju uvid u osnove ekonomske teorije i znanstvena objašnjenja stvarnih ekonomskih pojava, upoznaju studente sa osnovnim analitičkim tehnikama u ekonomiji i modelima ekonomske analize, te analiziraju aktualna ekonomska zbivanja u Hrvatskoj i međunarodnom okruženju.

Katedra za ekonomiju i matematiku također se fokusira na  primjenu matematičkih i statističkih metoda u ekonomiji. U skladu s tim, većina tema znanstveno istraživačkog rada članova Katedre su kvantitativne metode u ekonomiji, financijska matematika, ekonometrija i statistika.
